Day 1 - Saturday, August 2nd, 2014

Our first official day on the road went pretty well, even though we were behind schedule 4 hours from when we had hoped to leave. We are taking the northern route through North Dakota on the way and will head back on the southern route at the end of the month. The weather was beautiful but hot and got pretty muggy the further east we went. We stopped by the Theodore Roosevelt State Park for a quick peek. Hopefully the boys will upload some of the pictures they took. The badlands there were quite lovely.
