Oh what a day this has been. Going back to sleep after the boys left to go paddle boarding was a guilty pleasure that I really needed today. My whole afternoon was gobbled up with trip specific errands that I just didn't seem to get accomplished before we left home, things like making more copies of important documents, buying compression socks (to prevent leg swelling on our long flights), RFDI protective passport/wallet things (to protect ourselves from digital thieves), a mophie powerstation (to keep our phones and tablets charged so we don't risk having them confiscated with the new security law in effect) and some much needed personal shopping too!
The cherry on the day was being able to have take out Thai food with both my sisters, my boys and my two of my nephews at my sister Kirsten's house before we all splinter off into three separate directions in the morning...Ingy and her boys back to Montana, Kirsten up north on a week long canoe trip and my boys and I head to Chicago, compliments of my Dad to meet up with Sean who is flying into O'Hare in the morning!
I finally actually feel ready...and it's a very good feeling indeed!
