Day 5 - Wednesday, August 6th, 2014

Here we are in our beautiful room at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare Hotel with Sean (finally) after being kindly escorted here by my Dad. Here we are after a lovely lunch with him. Sorry about the weird collage, it was the only way it would allow me to get all of us in the same picture.

There is a odd nervousness in the air, a combination of excitement and apprehension of the unknown hoping that we have dotted all of our i's and crossed all of our t's in the international travel department.

This is the culmination of many moths of planning on the part of the Convention Department, the branches in both countries as well as ourselves. I feel as though we are as prepared as we can be at this point and yet I still have a sick sort of feeling that I could have done more. Perhaps that is the perfectionist in me oozing its way out, again.

We will be turning in early tonight as we need to be on the shuttle at 2:30 in the morning headed to the airport! We will all try to keep the posts coming here so you can keep up with our globe trotting whereabouts.
